The short version
Yoga Hubs is reader-supported and participates in affiliate programs. When you click a link on this site and buy a product or service, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how the site pays for hosting, research time and writing.
We never charge you anything. We never raise the price you pay because of an affiliate link. We never recommend a product solely because the commission is higher — read the editorial standards below for what that means in practice.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a third-party network (e.g., Pepperjam / Ascend, Amazon Associates, ShareASale, Impact, CJ Affiliate) that a visitor came from yoga-hubs.com. If you make a qualifying purchase within the tracking window, the network credits us with a commission, typically a small percentage of the sale.
Where you will see affiliate links
- Inline text links inside articles, particularly product reviews and buying guides
- Buttons labelled “Check price”, “Read more on [brand]” or similar
- Sidebar or in-content banner units
Each article that contains affiliate links displays the disclosure box near the top of the page.
Networks we currently work with
- Pepperjam / Ascend by Partnerize — our primary US network for activewear, yoga apparel and wellness brands
- Amazon Associates (where applicable)
- Additional networks (ShareASale, Impact, Awin, CJ Affiliate) may be added over time. They will be added here when active.
Our editorial standards regarding affiliates
- We do not write reviews based on a commission rate. Topics are chosen based on reader interest and what the existing internet is missing.
- We are honest about mediocre products. If a popular product is not worth the price, we say so.
- We never accept money or free product in exchange for a positive review without disclosing it explicitly in the article.
- Affiliate income does not influence editorial coverage of a brand, positively or negatively.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) compliance
This disclosure exists to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). Even though Yoga Hubs is operated from Canada, much of our audience and many of our affiliate partners are based in the United States, so FTC standards apply to our partnerships.
